Who can apply
Eligibility is as of the 2026 cycle. The organiser has not yet confirmed it for 2027.
Low-income undergraduates at 18 Scottish institutions, in the penultimate year or year 3 or 4 of a five-year degree, whose permanent home was in Scotland before university and still is. Scottish schooling or a tie is also needed.

- The 18 are Aberdeen, Abertay, Dundee, Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier, Glasgow, Glasgow Caledonian, Heriot-Watt, Highlands and Islands, Queen Margaret, Robert Gordon, St Andrews, Stirling, Strathclyde, West of Scotland, Glasgow School of Art, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and SRUC. You must have studied there for your whole degree, or moved there after an HNC or HND at a Scottish college. You also need two years of full-time secondary school or college education in Scotland, or another tie to Scotland that the Trust confirms before you apply. UK right to work is needed.
